on friday the 15th of August i start the first leg of a four month adventure. i'll be travelling to california to see my lovely family, then to new york for a day of play, then to russia where i'll be living for three months. once the semester is done, i'll be flying back to california for what i predict to be the warmest christmas in existence, i'll shoot a wedding, and then fly back to my beloved seattle just in time for my last quarter at spu.
friday marks my last day in seattle until january. i'm really awful at goodbyes. and by really awful, i mean REALLY awful. i will miss seattle with a lot of my heart.
but i'm also excited to see my family. i haven't seen my family (minus mi madre) in 5 months! california will consist of family hangouts, parties, disneyland, hang gliding, hiking, hot tubbing, back rubs, last minute errands, etc... i'm excited to just be with my family for a week, to be honest. i love them a whole bunch.
and then russia...
...and i can't really think that far in advance.

Well you're not missing much in Seattle today. It's raining, it's pouring... and thundering and lightening! Seattle misses you, though.
